News: Nuove gomme AKA ‘Catapult’

Svelate ai box del Dirt Nitro Challenge le nuove gomme di casa AKA - è trascorso più di un anno da quando i cervelloni del team AKA anno rilasciato un nuovo disegno per la categoria 1/8 buggy, quindi la presentazione ha suscitato una certa emozione. ' Catapult ' ecco il nome scelto da AKA per il suo nuovo prodotto.


Ci svela alcuni dettagli Mark Pavidis:

“The Catapult tire was developed to fill a gap between our Impact and Enduro tires. The goal in the development if this tire was to have the long wear characteristics of the enduro but be better in slightly dustier conditions. Another key element we were looking for is a smoother overall driving experience. This was done by a smooth transition in tread down to the sidewalls of the tire.

Like you mentioned Phil it has been a while since aka has released a 1/8 buggy tire. This tire was brought to the event with no one really being able to try them prior to coming here. A few of the drivers have tried them and have had a lot of positive things to say. Many of these drivers are very excited to see how this tire will perform in Germany on the Sand track. ”
